Inter have reached an agreement in principle with Chelsea for the transfer of N’Golo Kante according to a report from Spanish news outlet TodoFichajes.com.

Inter reached an agreement to sign Kante from Chelsea in the upcoming Summer transfer window a couple of weeks ago and whilst the details of the agreement between the two clubs are unknown, everything points toward Kante swapping London for Milan in a matter of months.

The Nerazzurri club have courted the French national team midfielder for a considerable amount of time at the express request of Inter manager Antonio Conte, who considers Kante to be essential for Inter’s future.

Inter had shown a keen interest in Kante this past Summer but were ultimately unable to reach an agreement at the time.

Kante, who is contracted to Chelsea until the end of the 2022/23 season, has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has provided a single assist.
