Inter fans have made their feelings known regarding Inter manager Antonio Conte’s recent treatment of attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen via social media a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport highlights.
Eriksen has struggled to live up to expectations since arriving at Inter back in the January transfer window from Tottenham Hotspur and it appears almost inevitable that he will leave in the upcoming January transfer window.
In the past few matches former Juventus and Italian national team boss Conte has opted to bring on Eriksen for the final few minutes of games, something that has led to fans lashing out at Conte over with fans seeing Conte’s treatment of Eriksen as unfair, needless and a sign of fury.
Inter fans’ thoughts on the matter gained so much traction in fact that ‘#Eriksen’ began to trend across social media platform Twitter.
This season Eriksen has made 10 appearances across all competitions to date but has not managed to make any goal contributions.
