Italian forward Stephan El Shaarawy has been offered to Inter, AC Milan and Arsenal, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.

The report details how the 28-year-old Italian forward, who is currently contracted to Shanghai Shenhua until 2022, is tired of life in China and wants to return to Europe.

Despite the fact that his contract is worth €24 million in total per season, El Shaarawy wants to be part of an important team again.

Intermediaries are currently at work to achieve this, as contact has already taken place with Arsenal, the Rossoneri and the Nerazzurri.

Roma are also following the situation but are closer to other players currently.

Inter are evaluating the idea, although other objectives like a new defensive midfielder and back-up striker may take priority.

El Shaarawy has made six appearances so far this season, providing one assist in his 378 minutes on the pitch.

He has recently been called up to the Italian national team by coach Roberto Mancini.
