Inter wing back Achraf Hakimi was brought off the pitch against Cagliari in pain earlier today, but the injury is not serious, according to a report from Italian broadcaster DAZN after the game.

The report details how the 22-year-old Moroccan wing back, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2025, was brought on in the 46th minute to replace Ivan Perisic.

He left the pitch 37 minutes later in the 83rd minute after suffering an injury, with a particularly pain expression painted on the face of the former Borussia Dortmund man.

However, the injury is not too concerning for Hakimi, as the pain was only the result of cramps caused by a contusion.

The 22-year-old Hakimi, who joined the Milanese club from Real Madrid in the summer in a deal worth around €40 million, has made 15 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 932 minutes.

In that time, he has scored three goals and provided four assists.
