Torino continue to have an interest in signing Inter central midfielder Matias Vecino according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The Granata club showed a keen interest in acquiring the Uruguayan national team player during the Summer transfer window but a move never took off as Vecino was not interested in a move to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino side.

Just like he was then, he remains uninterested in a move to Torino. For now it seems like the former Fiorentina player will remain an unattainable dream for Marco Giampaolo’s side.

Vecino has not featured whatsoever for Inter this season due to being sidelined by injury but reports have suggested that he will make a full return to training from next week.

Since joining Inter in the Summer of 2017, the 29-year-old has made 96 appearances across all competitions to date for the club. In his time on the park, he has scored 11 goals and provided six assists for his teammates.
