Eintracht Frankfurt may have given up on signing Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti, according to an Italian media report this evening.

German broadcaster Sky Sports Deutschland are reporting that the Bundesliga side are working on bringing Luka Jovic back to the club from Real Madrid.

Talks between the two clubs are already underway over a possible six-month loan deal for the Serbian forward, who has had a nightmare spell in La Liga.

With this news, FCInterNews.it report that it cannot be ruled out that Eintracht Frankfurt have given up in their pursuit of all others they were courting for the attack, including Pinamonti, who last week was described as an interesting player by their coach Adi Hutter.

Pinamonti has been heavily linked with a possible departure from Inter this month with him having also been linked with a possible loan switch to Benevento.

Antonio Conte is however reported to be blocking Pinamonti from leaving the club right now, due to a lack of reassurances over Inter’s ability to sign a replacement.
