Inter could offer Christian Eriksen to Atalanta in a loan swap deal for Papu Gomez, according to an Italian media report today.

As per TuttoMercatoWeb, the Nerazzurri are studying a potential last minute deal for the Argentine forward that would not involve excessive expenses, but persuading Atalanta will not be easy given that the Bergamo-based club are currently refusing to consider selling Gomez to another club in Italy.

Inter could perhaps offer Eriksen in a loan swap deal for the final six months of the 2020-21 season and this is a scenario that could become more credible if Atalanta receive no concrete offers for their club captain in January.

Gomez has been linked with many Italian clubs as well as some foreign clubs and a Turkish media report claimed yesterday that Fenerbache have made an enquiry for him.

As per that report, Atalanta told the Turkish side that they want €5 million from foreign clubs for Gomez but twice as much from Italian clubs.
