Reported Inter target Andrija Radulovic has been demoted to Red Star Belgrade’s youth team after rejecting a transfer, according to a Serbian media report today.

As per Kurir, the highly-rated forward rejected a loan move to second-tier side FK Graficar, asking to be moved to another club in the Serbian Superliga or a team overseas.

Following his stark refusal, Inter legend Dejan Stankovic, who coaches Red Star, took the decision to demote Radulovic from the first team as punishment.

In the past few days, the 18-year-old has been linked with potential moves to Inter, AC Milan and Benfica whilst FK Rad’s sporting director has also confirmed their interest in signing Radulovic too.

This season Radulovic, who has represented Montenegro and Serbia at youth national team level, has made nine appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored one goal and also provided a single assist.

Stankovic took charge of Red Star in December 2019 and won his first league title as a coach the following May.
