There is minimal, if not zero, chance of Inter bringing in a new player to reinforce the squad by the end of the transfer window an Italian newspaper report has warned today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition, even if Inter are able to offload Christian Eriksen, this may not necessarily mean that they will be able to bring a new face in.

There have been some talks with Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City over the struggling Denmark international, who only joined Inter a year ago from Spurs, but things have went nothing further than that.

Inter have been linked with no shortage of players during the transfer window but the club’s current financial situation has hamstrung them on the transfer market.

It has been widely reported that Inter wanted a new fourth choice striker as well as a new midfielder but it would seem as if Inter coach Antonio Conte will have to settle for what he has already got at his disposal for the remainder of the season.
