Inter and AC Milan have not yet completed the sending of all the necessary documentation to the Milan City Council with regard to their request for more information regarding the ownership situation of both clubs.

As per Tuttosport, the Milan City Council made the request to the two Milanese clubs in relation to their joint new stadium project, which will see a new state of the art stadium built to replace San Siro.

The Milan City Council made the request back in December with them seeking clarity of the roles played by Gianluca D’Avanzo and Salvatore Cerchione of BlueSkye in AC Milan as well as the role that LionRock Capital, who own 31% of Inter, play.

Inter and AC Milan responded to the request within a few days before Christmas but further clarification is still needed.

The two clubs have been working on the new stadium project for well over a year and a journalist recently claimed they may not get the green light to proceeded until next year.
