Bologna are interested in signing Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti before the transfer window shuts on Monday, according to a leading Italian transfer expert.

Gianluca Di Marzio tonight reported the Rossoblu are keen on the Italy under-21 international, who has made just three appearances under Antonio Conte this season.

Despite Pinamonti’s lack of game time, it remains unlikely that Conte will agree to let him go, especially if Inter fail in their bid to swap Alexis Sanchez with Roma’s Edin Dzeko.

Conte is said to consider the 21-year-old an important part of his squad, if only numerically, and does not wish to let Pinamonti leave without a similar player coming in to replace him.

A report elsewhere on Friday said Inter could pursue a deal to re-sign their former striker Eder, currently at the Nerazzurri’s sister club FC Jiangsu, if Pinamonti leaves before the end of the transfer window.

The Italian-Brazilian scored 14 goals in 86 appearances before heading to the Chinese Super League in the summer of 2018.
