Legendary Inter and Germany full-back Andreas Brehme took to Instagram on Wednesday to recall one of his favourite goals for the Nerazzurri.

Brehme joined the Nerazzurri in 1988 from Bayern Munich and spent four memorable seasons with the club, winning the league title under Giovanni Trapattoni in his first season.

He posted a picture of the free-kick he scored during Inter’s 2-2 draw at home to Genoa in December 1991 at San Siro – one of 12 goals he scored in his 155 appearances in Italy.

Brehme simply wrote: “Scoring against Genoa…”
