Udinese goalkeeper Juan Musso has no preference when it comes to possibly joining Inter or Roma, according to an Italian media report today.

The Argentine international, whom Udinese value at around €20 million, is on the radar of both clubs as they look to upgrade their goalkeeping department, as per CalcioMercato.it.

While he would be equally happy to join Inter or Roma, Musso does want to play for a club in the UEFA Champions League and be first choice wherever he moves.

Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto is said to be ‘crazy’ about Musso and is considering offering a swap deal that would see Carles Perez and Amadou Diawara move to Udinese in exchange for the keeper.

Musso is reportedly Inter’s preferred choice as they look to find themselves a long-term replacement for ageing number one Samir Handanovic, whose contract is due to expire at the end of next season.

Musso, who is under contract with Udinese until 2023, has made 21 appearances across all competitions, in which he has kept six clean sheets for Luca Gotti’s side.

Earlier this week, he told reporters in Argentina that the interest from Inter and Roma had ‘motivated’ him to keep playing well this season.
