Arturo Vidal should be available for Inter for their all-important Milan derby with AC Milan this weekend, according to a leading Italian broadcaster.
As per Sky Sport Italia, the Chilean national team player trained with the rest of his teammates in the Nerazzurri’s afternoon session at Appiano Gentile, ahead of Sunday’s match with the Rossoneri at San Siro.
The former Bayern Munich midfielder has missed Inter’s last few matches due to a knock picked up during the recent win over Fiorentina but it would appear that he could return on Sunday.
Whether he starts for Antonio Conte’s side or not remains to be seen though, with multiple reports suggesting that the revitalised Christian Eriksen is in fact the favourite to complete Inter’s midfield.
Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella are meanwhile expected to occupy the other two midfield spots in the midfield three in former Chelsea coach Conte’s 3-5-2 system.
Victory would take Inter four points clear of AC Milan at the top of the Serie A table.
