Suning chairman Jindong Zhang’s speech regarding the stop of irrelevant activities yesterday does not refer to Inter, despite fans’ fears Italian media report.

This according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera, detailing how the Chinese businessman’s speech yesterday was focused on the strategies of the Chinese company.

Sources from inside the Nerazzurri confirm that his comments do not refer to Inter at all, but instead to their domestic activities within China, the report continues.

The part of the speech regarding ‘irrelevant activities’, however, has scared many Nerazzurri fans, who are afraid of the club ending up in a situation similar to the one that was caused by Erick Thohir only a few years ago.

Zhang’s speech was simply intended to galvanize the company’s employees and inform them of the strategy for this year and below.

The speech was also made a few days’ ago, but was only coincidentally released a couple of days ahead of the derby against AC Milan.
