Real Madrid have added Inter’s Romelu Lukaku to their list of options as they look to bring in a new striker, according to a Spanish media report today.

As per TodoFichajes.com, Lukaku is Los Blancos’ third-choice option behind Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

Manchester City are also interested in signing Lukaku, but if Real Madrid were to go in for him, the report explains that the player’s preference would be clear and that it would be for a move to Real Madrid, where he would go without hesitation.

Mbappe could be economically impossible for Real Madrid to sign while signing Haaland is dependent on Borussia Dortmund, and for this reason the La Liga giants are seeking alternatives such as Lukaku.

Lukaku is valued at €90 million but Real Madrid could possibly agree a deal worth just €70 million with Inter for the Belgian.

The 27-year-old has been linked multiple times with City in recent weeks, although he is thought to be extremely happy with life at Inter under Antonio Conte.

Lukaku proved his worth to the Nerazzurri once again on Sunday with a fantastic individual goal during the 3-0 win over AC Milan.
