Inter do not have an option to re-sign Federico Dimarco from Hellas Verona this summer, according to an Italian media report today.

Dimarco has impressed while out on loan with the Gialloblu and as per Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition, Ivan Juric’s side should pay the €10 million sum agreed with the Nerazzurri during loan negotiations to make the move permanent.

Multiple reports have stated that Inter have a buy-back option worth slightly more than the fee Hellas Verona would pay to sign the wing-back outright, but the Milan-based publication state that this is not the case.

Despite having no buy-back option, Inter could still try and bring Dimarco back if Hellas Verona sign him outright – but it will not be as simple as it would have been had there been a buy-back option, and Gazzetta’s report made no mention of whether this would be the Nerazzurri’s intention.

Dimarco, 23, has made 23 appearances across all competitions for Hellas Verona this season, in which he has scored three goals and provided five assists.
