Romelu Lukaku has every intention of staying at Inter despite rumoured interest from several top European clubs, according to an Italian media report today.

Lukaku again underlined his importance to Antonio Conte’s side last weekend by scoring in the Nerazzurri’s 3-0 derby win against AC Milan.

As per CalcioMercato.com, the Belgian has been linked with moves to Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, but there is no sign he wishes to leave the Serie A leaders anytime soon.

In fact, when Lukaku was asked by a Manchester United fan on Twitter on Tuesday when he would be coming home, the 27-year-old replied: “I’m already at home.”

Regardless of what happens between Suning and Inter with the club’s ongoing liquidity problems, the report argued that Inter’s partnership with Lukaku must continue.

Lukaku has made 30 appearances across all competitions for Conte’s side this season, in which he has scored 23 goals.

He will look to add yet more goals to his tally when Inter host in-form Genoa at San Siro on Sunday.
