Christian Eriksen is to retain his place in the Inter starting line-up for this weekend’s Serie A match at home to Genoa, according to an Italian broadcaster’s report this evening.

As per Sky Sport Italia, Antonio Conte will keep faith with the revitalised Danish international who is enjoying an excellent run of form at the moment.

Conte is expected to make just one change to his XI following last Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina victory over AC Milan, and that is enforced with Achraf Hakimi ruled out through suspension.

Matteo Darmian is favourite to replace the Moroccan international at right wing-back, with Ashley Young set to remain on the bench.

Stefano Sensi will miss out on the match against Davide Ballardini’s side due to injury, the report added, despite the midfielder having shown improvements in training today.

Inter’s probable starting line-up vs Genoa (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Eriksen, Perisic; Lukaku, Lautaro.
