Inter will release a fourth kit in April which takes inspiration from the Nerazzurri’s 1997-98 away shirt, a report revealed today.

As per Footy Headlines, who specialise in the leaking of new kits among other things, Inter’s new strip will be inspired by the one worn by Gigi Simoni’s side in the year the club won their last UEFA Cup.

Their kit manufacturers Nike are expected to launch a special merchandise collection inspired by the new fourth kit, which will be predominantly white.

Leaks of the new merchandise collection include the colours white, yellow, blue and black, which were the same colours used in the away kit in 1997-98, Ronaldo’s first season at Inter.

A baseball cap from the collection has also been leaked and features Inter’s new logo, which is also expected to be present on the new fourth kit.

Inter are due to launch their new logo as part of an upcoming rebrand, having confirmed the leaks by filing a trademark application a few weeks ago.

The club’s ongoing corporate problems are likely to delay the campaign, though, with owners Suning fully focused on sourcing funds to guarantee Inter’s financial stability.
