Inter could pull further away from arch-rivals Juventus at the top of the Serie A table today, an Italian media report has pointed out.
Juventus drew 1-1 with Hellas Verona last night and La Repubblica have highlighted the fact that Antonio Conte’s Inter could move as much as 10 points clear of their arch-rivals with a win at home to Genoa today.
A win would surely be a big boost for the Nerazzurri in their bid to become Serie A champions for the first time since the 2009/10 season and would be a big blow to Juventus as they look to secure a 10th straight Serie A title.
Inter are currently sitting four points clear of second placed AC Milan at the top of the table and could also really pile the pressure on them ahead of their game later on today versus Roma, who are also involved in the hotly contested title race.
