Although Inter are leading Serie A and have a several point advantage at the top, they are not the favourites to win the Serie A title, at least according to former AC Milan and Sampdoria midfielder Ruud Gullit.

Inter are leading the way in Serie A at the moment and have a four point advantage over their closest title challengers, AC Milan, yet former Dutch international Gullit believes that Juventus remain favourites.

Juventus currently trail Inter by seven points and could fall as much as 10 behind their arch-rivals if Inter are to beat Genoa this afternoon at San Siro.

“My favourite remains Juve,” Gullit, who won three Serie A titles during his time with AC Milan, explained in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Of course, Inter are in the lead, AC Milan played well before being held back by absences and I like Lazio too, but the Bianconeri have the strongest team and can come back.”

There are 15 games left to spare of the 2020/21 Serie A season which has seen one of the most hotly contested title fights in several years after nine years of Juventus dominance.
