Romelu Lukaku was Inter’s best performing player in yesterday’s 3-0 win over Genoa, according to an Italian media report today.

The Belgian national team player opened the scoring for Antonio Conte’s side after 32 seconds at San Siro, before providing the assist for Matteo Darmian’s second goal and playing a part in Alexis Sanchez’s third.

Lukaku was handed an 8/10 rating for his performance as part of Corriere dello Sport’s player ratings from the match.

The Rome-based publication said he was ‘unstoppable’, having dominated yet another opposition defence in Serie A from start to finish.

Darmian, Nicolo Barella, Christian Eriksen and Lautaro Martinez were the joint-second best performers for the Nerazzurri with them all receiving 7/10 ratings.

CdS argued it would now be ‘a crime’ to relegate Eriksen back to the substitutes bench, after another convincing performance in midfield.

Milan Skriniar, Marcelo Brozovic, Ivan Perisic and Sanchez were all meanwhile rated 6.5/10 for their efforts in the match against Davide Ballardini’s side.

Samir Handanovic, who had very little to do in the match, and defenders Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni were all rated 6/10.
