Inter clearly made a huge impression on Genoa boss Davide Ballardini on Sunday.

Antonio Conte’s side breezed past the Rossoblu at San Siro with a comfortable 3-0 win, consolidating their four-point lead at the top of Serie A.

The Nerazzurri are most people’s favourites to win the Scudetto, with AC Milan legend Pippo Inzaghi adding his name to that list today, and Ballardini appears to be no exception.

“For me, it will be Inter without a doubt who win the league,” the Genoa coach told Gazzetta dello Sport today.

“Inter really are an incredibly strong team.”

Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring inside 32 seconds at the weekend, before second-half strikes from Matteo Darmian and Alexis Sanchez sealed the points for Conte’s side.

Inter will aim to preserve their advantage at the top of the table when they visit Parma on Thursday.

Achraf Hakimi is expected to return to the side after serving a one-match suspension against Ballardini’s side, but otherwise the Nerazzurri’s starting XI should be unchanged.

Genoa rested several first-team players against Inter on Sunday ahead of tomorrow’s Derby della Lanterna against Sampdoria.
