Antonio Conte won’t rest any of his players at risk of suspension when Inter visit Parma tomorrow, according to a report in the Italian media.
As per Corriere dello Sport’s print edition, Conte will stick with Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Alessandro Bastoni and Romelu Lukaku against the Ducali, all of whom are one booking away from suspension.
His only change to the Inter XI which beat Genoa on Sunday will be to bring Achraf Hakimi back into the starting line-up, with Matteo Darmian returning to the bench, after Hakimi served a one-match suspension at the weekend.
The report said it remained to be seen whether Conte would pick Lautaro Martinez or Alexis Sanchez – who was tipped to start by Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday – to partner Lukaku in attack.
Conte appeared to confirm the report from CdS in emphatic style at his pre-match press conference this afternoon, where he said it would be ‘stupid’ to rest players and risk losing points.
Inter’s probable starting line-up vs Parma (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Hakimi, Barella, Brozovic, Eriksen, Perisic; Lukaku, Lautaro.
