Inter will be pleased to hear that Juan Musso thinks he is still improving constantly at Udinese.
The Nerazzurri have been strongly linked with a move for the Argentine as they seek a long-term replacement for Samir Handanovic in goal.
However, Roma were reported as being in the lead to sign Musso by the Italian media earlier this week.
In an interview for Serie A’s official YouTube channel, the 26-year-old said: “The experience I’ve gained from almost 100 appearances in Serie A and the fact I know my teammates and opponents better are both factors in me becoming calmer.
“When someone feels calm everything becomes easier, even what you already knew.
“Today I’m a very different goalkeeper to the one who made his debut for Udinese.
“I’ve developed and I keep improving game after game.”
Musso has established himself one of the most promising goalkeepers in Serie A, with various reports suggesting Udinese want €30 million to sell the goalkeeper.
He admitted last month that the rumoured interest from Inter and Roma has motivated him to keep improving, before revealing he had ambitions of playing for a team in the UEFA Champions League.
Roma are by no means guaranteed of a top four finish this season, despite last night’s 2-1 win at Fiorentina, so if they missed out on Champions League qualification it could theoretically swing the pendulum back in Inter’s favour.
Musso has made 23 appearances across all competitions for Udinese this season, in which he has kept seven clean sheets.
