Inter’s CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are both still positive for COVID-19, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Corriere dello Sport’s print edition, while Marotta and Ausilio are both still positive, the Nerazzurri’s other chief executive Alessandro Antonello, their deputy sporting director Dario Baccin and their club lawyer Angelo Capellini are now all negative for the virus.

All five had tested positive during the last three weeks and they were Inter’s first positive cases in several months, after the club were hit hard by COVID-19 positive earlier on in the season.

Ionut Radu, Daniele Padelli, Milan Skriniar, Alessandro Bastoni, Aleksandar Kolarov, Ashley Young, Radja Nainggolan, Roberto Gagliardini and Marcelo Brozovic all tested positive earlier in the season.

Achraf Hakimi also tested positive, although his turned out to be a false positive.

Yesterday afternoon Inter had another player test positive for COVID-19 in Danilo D’Ambrosio, and as per various other reports, the rest of the team is negative.

A report from Gazzetta dello Sport today said Inter’s players could be prevented from joining up with their national teams as a result, although it remained unlikely.
