Inter have not missed any deadlines regarding their agreement with Manchester United for Romelu Lukaku, according to a report in the Italian media.
Reports recently claimed Inter had failed to pay a bonus due to the Premier League side, leading Manchester United to request Milan Skriniar or Lautaro Martinez as compensation.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport have reported today that Inter paid the bonus back in January when the Red Devils requested it.
The next instalment of Lukaku’s transfer fee, meanwhile, was deferred to the end of July after the clubs reached an agreement.
Inter have assured they will meet all their upcoming payment deadlines before the end of March, the report continued.
The Nerazzurri held an unspecified amount of money back earlier this year, in case owners Suning were unable to secure fresh investment in the short term, which they will now use.
Inter have player salary payments and fees to agents which will be due at the end of this season.
Antonio Conte’s squad agreed to have their wages for November and December last year delayed until this summer.
GdS also confirmed Inter had not encountered any issues with Real Madrid regarding Achraf Hakimi’s transfer fee.
