Inter have secured highly-rated Primavera midfielder Cesare Casadei, with the youngster signing a new contract at the club.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri have reached an agreement to extend the 18-year-old’s deal, with Casadei penning a new agreement that is now set to expire on 30 June 2024.

Casadei has caught the eye on the centre of midfield for Inter’s Primavera squad this season, having scored four league goals and provided an assist for coach Armando Madonna’s side in 15 appearances, starting every game in the Primavera 1 league.

The Ravenna-native joined Inter from Cesena’s youth academy in 2018, with the Nerazzurri keen to bolster their youth ranks in an effort to provide home-grown talent for the first team.

Casadei is yet to be named amongst the first time squad under coach Antonio Conte this season, with his only appearances being limited to a starring role in the Primavera team.
