Inter have no intention of retaining defender Aleksandar Kolarov beyond the end of the season and the Serbia international is not short of suitors.
The Nerazzurri brought the left-back in from Roma on a one-year deal last summer, with an option of an extension following 20 appearances.
However, as reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, Kolarov has dropped down the pecking order and fallen behind Alessandro Bastoni, with his last start coming on 31 October.
Kolarov has only featured 11 times this season and looks increasingly unlikely to hit the 20 matches required to trigger the extension, with Inter ready to let him go.
Struggles with fitness and form have also limited his appearances and the 35-year-old is at risk of finishing a season without a goal for the first time in his career, having netted 15 times for Roma over the past two seasons.
The former Manchester City player has received five offers from within Serie A and across Europe, with Bologna showing a strong interest in him.
