Inter have identified two transfer targets in their left wing-back position, according to a report in the Italian media.

Gazzetta dello Sport‘s online edition said the Nerazzurri were more than likely to release Ashley Young and Aleksandar Kolarov when their contracts expired in the summer.

Inter’s dream reinforcement on the left-hand side would be Robin Gosens at Atalanta, but the German is going to cost €40 million.

The alternative option is Emerson Palmieri at Chelsea, although the former Roma full-back also has interest from Inter’s Serie A rivals Juventus.

Achraf Hakimi has been flying for Antonio Conte on the right-hand side but now Inter want to find someone who can do a similar job on the opposite flank.

Emerson has made just 13 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea this season, having fallen out of favour under both Frank Lampard and Thomas Tuchel.

Gosens, meanwhile, has scored 10 goals and provided seven assists for Atalanta in another stunning season under Gian Piero Gasperini.
