Suning will once again reaffirm their support for Inter in a board meeting today, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition, Inter have a series of payments they must make by tomorrow in order to respect UEFA’s financial guidelines and obtain a licence for European competition next season.

One of these payments is a €13 million instalment to Real Madrid for Achraf Hakimi, while there are also January salaries to be paid to Inter’s players.

Inter expect to make all the payments as planned without any trouble, but they have called a board meeting for the occasion, and in that meeting Suning will reiterate their financial support towards the Nerazzurri.

Club president Steven Zhang is set for a busy week as he prepares to return to Italy in a couple of weeks’ time.

Inter released their new club logo today and Gazzetta’s report explained how Zhang was a huge driving force behind the project.

Zhang wanted Inter to further ‘internationalise’ their brand in the year that they could return to the summit of Italian football by winning the Scudetto.

Inter will try to tell people about their ‘essence’ through the club’s marketing campaign, which will show numerous legendary players and some of the current team dotted around Milan in publicity videos.

Antonio Conte, Romelu Lukaku, Nicolo Barella, Lautaro Martinez, Ashley Young and Hakimi will all feature in the marketing content from the modern-day squad.
