The representatives of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez are refusing to respond to suggestions the player will transfer authority to his father, amidst contract negotiations.

Argentina international Martinez had been represented by Beto Yaque and Rolando Zarate, with the pair thought to be it advanced negotiations over a new contract at the Nerazzurri.

However, as reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, Yaque and Zarate have becoming increasingly frustrated at claims that Martinez will drop them in favour of being represented by his father, but have refused to deny the suggestions.

They had previously dismissed reports that the former Racing Club striker was transferring to the agency of Jorge Mendes as ‘fake news’, but this time have remained silent on the matter.

Martinez has scored 14 Serie A goals this season to help propel Inter to top spot in the Serie A table, as the Nerazzurri look to seal a first Scudetto since 2010.
