Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is expected to start in the Nerazzurri’s Serie A match against Bologna this afternoon and could reach the milestone of 20 league goals at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Antonio Conte’s side take on the Rossoblu and hope to extend their eight-match winning streak, whilst Lukaku will be looking to add to his 19 strikes for the campaign.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, should the Belgium international find the back of the net he would become only the seventh player to break the 20-goal mark in consecutive seasons.

Indeed, only Giuseppe Meazza, Amadeo Amadei, Istvan Nyers, Roberto Boninsegna, Christian Vieri and Mauro Icardi have achieved such a feat.

Meanwhile, Lukaku has also proven his fitness since joining Inter and his availability in matches immediately proceeding international breaks has been highlighted, with the 27-year-old starting all seven matches.

The former Manchester United striker has also netted at least once in six of those games, with nine goals overall, and will be confident of extending his form against Bologna.
