After identifying Udinese right-back Nahuel Molina as a transfer target, Inter are now facing competition from Spanish league leaders Atletico Madrid.

As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, the Nerazzurri have been tracking the Argentine defender with a view to making a move in the summer.

It follows lengthy interest in fellow Argentines at the Zebrette, goalkeeper Juan Musso and midfielder Rodrigo De Paul, as Antonio Conte’s side look to strengthen ahead of next season.

Atletico Madrid have also shown considerable interest in Molina however and are ready to battle Inter for his signature, as they look to provide competition for current right-back Kieran Trippier.

The 22-year-old joined Udinese on a free transfer from Boca Juniors last September and has gone on to make 20 Serie A appearances for the club, providing five assists.

Molina also featured twice in the Coppa Italia, with his displays across the season attracting interest from across Italy and Europe.
