Inter have five names on their shortlist to replace Samir Handanovic in goal, according to a report in the Italian media.

Calciomercato.com said the Nerazzurri were on the lookout for a new goalkeeper with the Slovenian’s contract currently set to expire in 2022.

Udinese’s Juan Musso remains Inter’s preferred choice, and a deal could be facilitated by the great relations between the two clubs.

Cagliari shot-stopper Alessio Cragno is just behind Musso on the list, and again here Inter could be helped by their excellent relations with the Sardinian club.

Pierluigi Gollini at Atalanta also has admirers among Inter’s directors, although the former Manchester United goalkeeper is said to be the most difficult option to sign.

Inter are also monitoring Alex Meret at Napoli and Marco Silvestri at Verona, albeit the pair are thought to be a step behind the other three in the Nerazzurri’s preferences.

Andrei Radu is certainly facing an uncertain future, with the report pointing out that the Romanian was the only second-choice keeper in Serie A to have not played a single minute of football in any competition this season.
