Inter might have financial problems at the moment but they still boast Serie A’s richest owners in Suning.

Forbes (via FcInter1908.it) released their annual list of the world’s wealthiest individuals earlier this week and revealed Zhang Jindong was 339th, with a fortune worth a staggering $7.4 billion.

Zhang’s company Suning purchased a majority stake at Inter from Indonesian tycoon Erick Thohir in the summer of 2016.

Suning look set to continue as Inter’s owners for the time being, despite reports they are seeking fresh investment in the form of a new minority shareholder.

Fiorentina’s owner Rocco Commisso is second on Forbes’ 2021 rich list in terms of Serie A (352nd overall), with a personal fortune of $7.2 billion.

Bologna’s Joey Saputo completes the podium with his family said to be worth $5.7 billion, putting him 486th on the overall list.

AC Milan’s Paul Singer, who runs the Elliott hedge fund which controls the Rossoneri, is next up with a fortune worth $4.3 billion (665th on the overall list).
