Opta took to Social Media to demonstrate how Inter’s incredible form in the second half of the season has seen them break the Serie A record for consecutive wins.

A 1-0 victory over Cagliari at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza yesterday saw Antonio Conte’s side extend their winning streak to 11 matches since the midway point of the season, surpassing AC Milan’s 10 set in 1990 under Arrigo Sacchi.

Inter look to extend their new record further when they take on Napoli next Sunday.

“1 – Inter are the first side to have won each of the first 11 Serie A games played in the second half of a season, overtaking the record of AC Milan, 10 in 1989/90. Relentless,” Opta tweeted.
