Inter will have stiff competition from Juventus if they want to sign Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea, according to a report in the Italian media today.
The Nerazzurri are thought to have Emerson at the top of their transfer wish list for the summer (as per a separate source), with Antonio Conte chasing an upgrade in the left wing-back spot.
However, Calciomercato.com have now reported that Juventus are ‘accelerating’ their bid to sign the 26-year-old in a swap deal with Alex Sandro.
Juventus have been interested Emerson for quite some time and are aware that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is an admirer of Alex Sandro, having tried to sign him at PSG in 2018.
Emerson is out of contract with Chelsea next summer (2022) and has not featured much this season, making just 14 appearances in all competitions.
