Inter have not ruled out a move to bring Federico Dimarco back to the club this summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.

L’Arena’s print edition said Hellas Verona were all but certain to exercise their option to sign the full-back on a permanent deal for €6 million.

Dimarco has impressed while on loan with Ivan Juric’s side this season, but he is not guaranteed to stay in Verona even if the Gialloblu sign him in the summer.

Inter could take advantage of a counter-option to re-sign the 23-year-old for €10 million, although nothing will be decided until the end of the season.

Dimarco has scored four goals and provided five assists in 29 appearances for Hellas Verona, establishing himself as a pivotal player in Juric’s 3-4-3 system.

Inter will also need to discuss Eddie Salcedo’s future when they meet the Gialloblu for talks, although the striker – who is also on loan with an option to buy, like Dimarco – is not expected to join Hellas Verona permanently.
