Ex-Inter and Napoli midfielder Francesco Moriero is expecting a fascinating game between his former clubs as they meet in Serie A tomorrow evening.

The Nerazzurri travel to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona looking to extend their winning streak in the league to 12 matches, but come up against a Napoli side that have won four of their last five games.

“Inter will do everything they can to win against Napoli,” Moriero claimed in an interview with L’Interista.

“The group is solid, the environment is enthusiastic and as compact as ever and I believe that the Scudetto is now a formality.”

Moriero went on to compare Inter coach Antonio Conte with Napoli counterpart Gennaro Gattuso and felt that the latter’s push to qualify for the Champions League would help the occasion.

“The two coaches have a similar temperament and Napoli must remain in the Champions League race so they won’t let go.

“Tomorrow night will be a great match. The theme will be Napoli on the attack and Inter will look to strike on the counter,” he concluded.

Italian international Moriero joined Inter from Roma in 1997 and went on to score six goals in 56 appearances, before moving on to Napoli three years later.

The winger made 24 appearances for the Partenopei across two seasons before retiring in 2002 and is currently coach of Albanian club FK Dinamo Tirana.
