Inter coach Antonio Conte has all-but decided on his starting line-up for tomorrow evening’s Serie A match against Napoli, with only the left wing-back role up for grabs.

The Nerazzurri travel to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona looking to secure a 12th consecutive league win and move another step closer to the Scudetto, though they come up against an in-form Partenopei.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, Darmian is likely to fill in at left wing-back after netting the winner against Cagliari last weekend, particularly as Ivan Perisic remains a doubt.

The Croatian has missed Inter’s three most recent games with a muscular injury, and whilst he has stepped up his recovery, it is felt that he may need more fitness work before being able to start.

Meanwhile, Ashley Young, who replaced Perisic in those three games, has shown signs of fatigue and may be rested in favour of Darmian.

On the other flank, Achraf Hakimi will regain his place on the wing whilst midfielder Nicolo Barella will return from suspension to feature against Gennaro Gattuso’s side.
