Inter coach Antonio Conte has changed as a tactician across his two seasons with the club and has been able to embrace and enjoy his successes, Italian media argue.

The 51-year-old took the helm in May 2019 and led the Nerazzurri to the Europa League Final in his first campaign, whilst Inter are closing in on a first Scudetto since 2010 this season.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Libero, the experience of leading Inter after a long history with Juventus has had an effect on Conte, with the coach now able to consider other factors beyond victory.

The newspaper argues that Conte has this season put his players and staff above all else and he has now been able to enjoy the journey of leading the Nerazzurri, with a focus on being able to coach his players.

Indeed, being at the helm of the club during the coronavirus pandemic is seen as a factor in the former Chelsea tactician changing his point of view and becoming more selfless, whilst being able to deal with difficulties off the pitch.

This has resulted in him being able to lead Inter to the verge of the Scudetto, which Libero argue will be the most satisfying title of his career after a period of intense suffering.

The newspaper also points to Inter’s match against Sampdoria on 9 May as the earliest date that the Nerazzurri can seal the Scudetto, with Conte’s team needing a maximum of 13 more points to be crowned champions.
