Inter are keeping a close watch on midfielder Lucien Agoume during his loan spell at Spezia and could bring him into the first team next season.

The Cameroon-born France U17 international joined Inter from Sochaux in a €4.5 million deal in 2019 and made three first team appearances, before going out to Spezia this term.

According to Calciomercato.com, Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte has been impressed with his development and sees him as a long-term alternative to Marcelo Brozovic, with a view to integrating him into the first team next season.

The 19-year-old has attracted interest from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and they were willing to part with €10m for him, but Inter have no intention of selling him and value him at more than €15m.

Inter fought off competition from Barcelona and Manchester City to secure Agoume when signing him from Sochaux.

Agoume has made 11 Serie A appearances for Spezia this season and featured once in the Coppa Italia.
