The agent of Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj has suggested that his client could be set to leave this summer, amidst interest from Inter.

The Albanian defender is out of contract at the end of the season and has thus far failed to find a new agreement with the Partenopei, making him available as a free agent this summer.

Speaking to Italian radio station Radio Punto Nuovo earlier today, agent Mario Giuffredi warned that Napoli were set to lose an important player if they did not retain him, whilst also revealing that Hysaj had a number of options available to him across the continent.

“If he leaves, Napoli will lose out. Someone of his age and experience and with a CV like his is not easy to find,” Giuffredi claimed.

“May will be decisive for his future. We are working on four or five options, in Italy and abroad. Elseid is a top level player so he deserves a top tier club. They are all important clubs,” he added.

Hysaj joined Napoli from Empoli in 2015 and has gone on to make 219 appearances for the club, scoring a solitary goal in July 2020 against Sassuolo.

The 27-year-old is an Albania international and represented his country at Euro 2016 in France.
