Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume is on the verge of signing a new contract with the Nerazzurri, but his future may still lay elsewhere as they consider cashing in on him.

The Frenchman joined Inter from Sochaux in 2019 and has spent the current season on loan at Spezia, with FCInterNews.it reporting that he is in line for a contract extension with the Nerazzurri until 2025, whilst his wages are set to increase to €500,000 per season.

However, Inter are yet to decide what their short-time ambitions for Agoume are and the club are considering sending him out on loan again, with Serie B club Lecce keen should they secure promotion, as well as French Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne.

Similarly, Bayern Munich and Real Betis have shown long-standing interest in the 19-year-old and Inter may yet decide to sell should they receive a suitable offer.

Agoume has found playing time difficult to come by at Spezia, having only featured 11 times, and Inter are keen to find a more suitable destination should they choose to loan him out again.
