Inter are considering the possibility of bringing Federico Dimarco back to the club from Hellas Verona this summer, whilst coach Antonio Conte is keen on Emerson Palmieri.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the left wing-back position is set to be a priority in the transfer window and Dimarco’s positive season on loan with the Gialloblu could see him return to Inter.

Verona have an option to sign the 23-year-old permanently for €6.5 million and are expected to exercise this, but Inter can counter it by paying €8m.

However, Conte’s preferred option is Chelsea’s Italian international Emerson after working with him at Stamford Bridge in 2018. The former Roma full-back has found opportunities limited in the Premier League this season and Conte is keen to reunite with him.

Current Nerazzurri wing-back Ashley Young is expected to be released at the end of the season, with the Englishman being considered for a return to former club Watford following their promotion from the Championship.
