After securing a 1-0 win over Hellas Verona in Serie A this afternoon, Inter have earned praise from Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin.

The Nerazzurri moved 13 points clear at the top of the Serie A table after victory at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, courtesy of a second half goal from substitute Matteo Darmian.

Taking to Twitter, Italian journalist Biasin highlighted the devastating form Inter have enjoyed since the midway point of the season and argued that there was little wrong with Antonio Conte’s side.

“12 wins and two draws in the second half of the season. All the talk before the match counted for nothing. There is very little missing, Inter were good. Very good,” he tweeted.

The victory means Inter require a maximum of six points from their final five Serie A matches to be crowned champions for the first time since 2010, and could seal the Scudetto even sooner should AC Milan fail to beat Lazio tomorrow.

Conte’s side face Crotone next Sunday and victory could see them secure the title at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza against Sampdoria the following weekend.
