Hellas Verona goalkeeper Marco Silvestri has emerged as a target for Inter, whilst the Nerazzurri will consider an exchange deal for Federico Dimarco this summer.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of L’Arena, Silvestri’s fine performances for the Gialloblu have attracted attention from Roma and Lazio, but Inter have also joined the race as they look for a long-term replacement for Samir Handanovic.

Silvestri joined Verona from Leeds United in 2017 and has made 111 appearances for the club, helping them to earn promotion from Serie B and establish themselves in the top flight.

Meanwhile, Inter are set to meet with Verona in June to discuss and future of loanees Eddie Salcedo and Federico Dimarco, and may use that opportunity to bring the latter back to the club.

Verona have a permanent option in place for full-back Dimarco, but Inter would be willing to send back-up goalkeeper Ionut Radu and striker Andrea Pinamonti in exchange for him.
