Sports data and analytics provider Opta took to Social Media to highlight just how impressive Inter have been in recent months, after they defeated Hellas Verona 1-0 yesterday.

Matteo Darmian netted the winner at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to extend the Nerazzurri’s winning streak in Serie A at home to 13 matches, having last drop points in a 2-2 draw against Parma on 31 October.

Opta revealed on Twitter that their winning run matched Inter’s club record, set in May 2011, and the Nerazzurri can break it against Sampdoria on 9 May.

“13 – Inter have won 13 consecutive home games in Serie A for the second time in their history (previously in May 2011). Unstoppable,” Opta tweeted.
